Program Management / Consulting Case History

Client:  Connecticut Judicial Branch/Partners in Permanency Planning
CRPP was selected to create a statewide program of monitoring and tracking child care abuse and neglect cases using volunteers working in Connecticut Juvenile Courts.

CRPP launched the program entitled Partners in Permanency Planning (PIPP).  Volunteers recruited are called Permanency Planning Coordinators.

PIPP was designed to support an overburdened state juvenile court system working on child abuse and neglect cases.  In the process of implementing this program, CRPP utilized various media outlets, including the electronic and print mediums.  Public service announcements were produced and distributed to the media throughout the state, aiding in volunteer recruitment.  Also, press briefings were held with numerous editor boards.

The establishment of PIPP and the use of volunteers in the Juvenile Court contributes to the court staff’s ability to meets its goals with an ever-increasing caseload.

Other programs managed or consulting projects have included:  redistricting the City of Jackson, MS, the Connecticut HIV/AIDS Consortia, and Connecticut Department of Health’s Community Planning Group.
