The Northeast Gas Association (NGA), an organization of gas utilities throughout the northeast, functioned without a Strategic Plan for many years. A long-time client, NGA selected CRPP to develop its new Strategic Plan.
While the new Plan looked like many with mission and vision statements, values statements, principles, goals, objective/tactics, SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats), evaluation, and an active strategic plan – significant input from regulators, staff, board members, and member utilities drove the NGA plan development.
Areas for investigation within CRPP research included: awareness of NGA activities, programs and services; views on reasons members join NGA; rating NGA characteristics; views on importance and effectiveness of NGA products and services; SWOT: organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; input on NGA mission, vision, values, principles and goals; views on conceptual NGA growth areas; perceptions of NGA communication; and demographics
Examples of other Strategic or Master Plan clients include: The Graduate Club, Pinehurst, NC, and Mesquite, TX.
